Automatic Read More for Blogger

One of the most important blogger tricks but certainly the best known to all bloggers is the separation of posts with the function of  "Read More ".
This way, the home page does not show all the post but only part of it.
Thus, a Blogger can add more posts to the home page without "catching " enough space, and when the visitor presses on the "read more", it will transfer them to the post that interests him.
The above method offers 2 quite significant advantages:
1) No need to cut your posts  "manual " but cut automatically.
So as soon as you finish the post, you press publish and it automatically!!!
2) You adjust how many characters you want your posts to be cut, so that all posts on your Blog are uniform. (as in my vlog)
Follow the steps below with care!
remove readmore in blogger
Save template just in case

1) connection to Blogger
2) HTML Editing
3) with the help of CTRL + F we find it:

</head>

Immediately above it we put the following code:

<script type='text/javascript'>
var thumbnail_mode = &quot;float&quot; ;
summary_noimg = 230;
summary_img = 140;
img_thumb_height = 100;
img_thumb_width = 100;
</script>

<script src='http://freebloggertips.googlecode.com/files/free%20bloggertips.js' type='text/javascript'/>
-------------------------------------------------
At this point you can change the following numbers:

summary_noimg = 430; (is the height of the suspension without the image)
SUMMARY_IMG = 340; (is the height of the suspension with the image)
Img_thumb_height = 100; (Image height)
Img_thumb_width = 120; (The width of the image)
--------------------------------------------------

5) then find the following HTML code:

<data:post.body/>

Replace the code above with the following:

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;item&quot;'>
<data:post.body/>
<b:else/>
<div expr:id='&quot;summary&quot; + data:post.id'> <data:post.body/>
</div> <script type='text/javascript'> createSummaryAndThumb(&quot;summary<data:post.id/>&quot;); </script> <span style='padding-top:5px;;float:right;text-align:right;'><a expr:href='data:post.url' rel='bookmark'><b>Read more »</b></a></span> </b:if>

The  "Read more"  "You can change it.
In its place you can put something like:
Read more»
More about this article... Etc
6) Now find the </b: Skin "and put this on top of it:

a.readmore {
/* CSS properties go here */
}
7) Save your template
